About Ginglik

Ginglik
is located in a converted subterranean Edwardian public convenience which was built to serve the spectators of the 1908 Olympic Games nearby at White City.

It was lovingly converted in the summer of 2002 by couple Tammi Willis & Colin Welsh into a lush bunker venue that hosts live music, comedy nights, club nights, cabaret nights and art exhibitions. It has attracted some of Britain's most successful comedians, musicians, bands and DJ's including Rory Bremner, Jimmy Carr, Harry Hill, Frank Skinner, Paulo Nutini, Larrikin Love, Jamie T, AirHammer, Laura Marling, Lucky Soul, The Holloways, Dustin's Bar Mitzvah, Mary Anne Hobbs, DJ Krust, Alex Patterson and Plaid.

We are committed to providing quality entertainment and customer service as well as creating a unique platform for established and emerging artists. Our membership policy makes for a refreshingly friendly atmosphere and generates a community vibe unrivalled by any other London venue.

We have recently been threatened with closure but so far it looks like we are managing to win the fight! (click here for more)

'There are only a handful of venues in London that are perfect for comedy ánd Ginglik is definitely one of them. It has a warmth and intimacy that connects the performer with the audience, allowing the best shows to happen. This connection also strangely exists with the atmosphere at the bar - it's a little, underground haven". Adam Bloom
