    The Navajo
Is a London based quartet, founded by Brixton resident brothers Oli Pikett [vocals, guitar] and Ed Pikett [drums] in early 2012. After meeting Oli at music school, Maxim (“Ans”) Ducrue [guitar] and Maxime Raguideau [bass, keyboards, vocals] quickly joined The Navajo to complete the line-up. The band’s sound draws on blues, rockabilly and surf rock, and its original songs could be described as Americana tinged pop. The band’s influences are broad, but include The Band, The Black Keys, Johnny Cash, the White Stripes and countless movies. The Navajo have recorded several demos, most recently a track called Man Lying on a Wall, inspired by the L.S. Lowry painting of the same name.

    The Ironic Harvest
In the midst of all the make-believe madness, the mock depravity and the pseudo sexual anarchy The Ironic Harvest are the real thing. Born in the dust and heat of a school playground in the late 20th Century their arresting music has been heard from Portsmouth to Vancouver to Chiswick London. 2011 saw the release of their debut album on iTunes “A Brief History of Tim” and accompanying BBC airplay. For sound, think of a parallel universe where Neil Young recorded Revolver instead the Beatles and Keith Richards produced it with Thom York…and then they threw the tapes away and did something new.

    The Delta Jacks
The Delta Jacks are a four-piece originals Americana band from Essex. Performing banjo-driven country, harp-led blues, and raucous rockabilly they are influenced by the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Howlin’ Wolf, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club and the Violent Femmes. The band have supported such UK Americana luminaries as the Jim Jones Revue, Mudlow, The Cedars, The Lucky Strikes and Steve Curtis since they started gigging back in the Summer of 2011.
Live review from the Phonovault blog : “Proponents of an unholy mélange of country, blues, deep-south choogle and raw rock n’roll, These four local lads evidently found themselves standing at the Alabama/Essex crossroads, having sold their souls to the Dagenham Devil.”
Review from David Giles, The Lucky Strikes’ piano player and Evening Echo Southend newspaper feature writer: “The Delta Jacks – They’re everything you want from a rock n roll band. Great harmonies, amazing musicians, and great outfits.”
After making their London debut at the 12 Bar Club in the summer of 2012, the band are now hoping to play regularly on the London Americana circuit during 2013.

    JrS
At the back end of 2003 we were given our first break on the radio when we took control of a Thursday night slot on Subliminal Musik thanks to an invite from DJ Domino. From there we moved on to play on Tectonic radio & finally to the home of the healing sessions www.lifefm.uk until Subliminal sadly closed. From there we hooked up with two crews, initially ETJ, then on to EOC where we now live, working in a tight little team pushing the deeper sounds we love. Since then my DJing has taken me from Canada to Kent & in venues from the trendy Plan B to the downright grimy SEOne. My influences have changed over time as my musical taste has developed but when it comes to what I play there is one rule, it’s gotta have a groove!
